Palimpsest
A workshop starts with four passes.
Each one looks for a single kind of problem, owns a highlight color, and closes on a revision you can return to. Rename them, add your own, or run only the ones you need.
Structure
Where the piece begins, what order the parts want to be in, what can move.
Clarity
Abstraction where the page had been concrete. Sentences that describe an idea instead of showing it.
Cut
Dead phrases, hedges, and sentences that explain a gesture the reader already understood.
Line
Rhythm, sound, and where a sentence should break. Last pass, once the shape has stopped moving.
Nothing is published, shared, or rewritten without you asking.
